There are lots of competitions throughout year. These competitions have different levels of difficulty and numbers of competitiors.

UPCOMING YOUTH COMPETITIONS

LATEST NEWS – This event has officially been cancelled!! Lets hope 2022 brings better news.
This event is a ropes only event and takes place over a weekend in the summer. It is for categories C and D only. Lead for the C category and top ropes for Category D. A maximum of 60 entries per category are allowed and these can get filled rather quickly (usually around Dec/Jan). The Saturday is an all day session with 6 routes for each category and the top 20 placed athletes will progress to Sundays’ final where they will face a final 2 routes to decide final placings. This is a great event and location. We fully recommend the toboggan!
Tom Steele (male) and Jasmine Arnold-Clarke (female) both placed 4th in 2019 in category D.

With 2020 being a bit of a washout. Lets hope 2021 is a little kinder to us. With the BMC announcing dates for the 2021 YCS things are looking a little brighter.
Round 1 – 18th September 2021 – Boulder
Round 2 – 2nd October 2021 – Roped
Round 3 – 23rd October 2021 – Boulder
Round 4 – 6th November 2021 – Roped
Grand Final – 25/26 November 2021
The Grand Final is the culmination of all the regional qualifiers. The whole weekend is an event of Bouldering and Roped climbing. A really good experience for all!!

TAB have already announced their planned date for this event and shows their commitment to run this event.
This event is a 1 bouldering festival with events for all age categories. TAB 2020 saw GB youth climber Toby Roberts win his category, well done Toby!!
